Extraction process :
Frangipani is a shrub that can measure from 5 to 10 m high whose flowers harvest is made between march and april.
It is possible to extract this tree's smell by different means. Volatile solvents (hexane) is the most common. It brings a 0,4 to 0,5% yield.
Extractions by distillation are also managable, with a 0,01% yield. This is the reason why the absolute is used in majority in perfumery.
