Utilisation

Uses

Other comments :

Very close to alpha-neobutenone® and Galbascone®

Stability :

Very stable in all application

Uses in perfumery :

Dynascone® is used in in all types of fragrances to give unique green, floral and fruity effects. It works very well for green notes such as cis-3-hexenol or galbanum but be careful, this raw material is very powerful and have an important volume. Very interesting for works around yellow fruits (bananas, pineapple) or for floral undertones in hyacinth, lilac ou lilly of the valley.

Year of discovery :

Discovered in 1972 as a by-product during alpha-damascone® synthesis. Firmenich intern captive since 1974. ''Dynascone® '' tradename has been published and protected by Firmenich SA since 16/10/1991 (brand N°577667)

Isomerism :

Dynascone® may have two isomeric forms : Alpha-Dynascone® and Beta-Dynascone®. The alpha one is mainly used because of it is more green, powerful and linear.
